I really liked the Jack/Gwen scene - it felt like a natural progression of their relationship in s1, filtered through Jack's experiences on the Valiant, where he's come to terms with himself, is finally willing to finally let himself have something that he wants, and had a lot of time to think about what he'd do if he had that time again. And then he does get that time... and what he really wants isn't available. At which point he shifts across to Plan B. It's rather sweet and rather sad, but our boy is nothing if not pragmatic! :)
