The hail that isn't bouncing off the sill is blowing horizontally past my window.

*hides under desk*

Aww, nasty. Possibly the same weather system that dumped an inch of ice on us on Saturday. Our entire lane is still an ice rink. They didn't pick up our trash yesterday because of the unsafe condition of our road. *grin* And now it has a dusting of snow on it to fool the unsuspecting. Driving has been... interesting.

I may have to start clearing under the desk soon, because the sky here is a rather threatening mixture of navy and purple!

Something is coming.... :0

Oh, yuck. Well, hopefully it'll stop soon! Like [livejournal.com profile] nnwest said, we've had our share of winter weather over here that's been rather fun.

fortuntely it had just about stopped when the fire alarm went off (damn builders next door) and we all had to traipse outside...

The hail has now stopped, but I'm going to have to lower the blinds or risk being blinded by the sunshine. *is confused*

If it's the same one we just had, I recommend ducking and covering...

This was just little wet hailstones, although the horizontal thing was quite entertaining. From this side of the window, at least :)

I think the weather is as bewildered as I am at the moment. We now have glorious sunshine...

Yeah, so seven minutes later and it's now nighttime and the rain wants to come in!

Wow that's heavy!

On the plus side, we now have sunshine and fluffy white clouds (yes, with silver linings ;))

That's annoying to say the least! The sun is not unexpected. My amateur weather knowledge tells me that hail is usually at the edge of a storm system. Don't remember the exact reasons any more. Something to do with updrafts.

Typical! This suggests that somewhere James Bond is fighting a supervillain over control of his weather satellite of doom....

Meanwhile, here it's sunny with a high of 69 degrees. 0_o Of course, yesterday it was 33. Louisiana--home of the perpetually confused sinus problems.

76 this weekend; the kids will be taking their Christmas pics with t-shirts, I guess.

The sky's looking a bit ominous outside here, actually. Accompanied by utterly random blue patches. I think British weather has actually gone insane...

...aren't you in Oxford as well (just down the road from me, actually)? It's mostly blue now, with wispy clouds, which is nice and confusing :)

Came home this morning cuz I wasn't needed any more (when I left, it was pouring down with rain and Worcester was amusingly muddy). Obviously the weather's feeling a bit indecisive...

Just saw your post, sorry! And since I typed my last comment, the big black clouds have settled in.

Honestly, the weather forcasts might as well be horoscopes for all the resemblence they bear to the actual weather.

*giggle* I shall make sure my hiding place is supplied with donuts. Forget warmth, light, shelter or any of the other major food groups. Donuts will do nicely.
