I get what you mean, entirely. I have *definitely* noticed a tendency for fandom to want to make Jack gay, instead of omnisexual (or bisexual for practical purposes). On one hand it's great that people are rooting for the gay relationship.
On the other, and much bigger, hand - DUDE, JACK IS NOT FUCKING GAY. LET HIM HAVE HIS SEXUALITY. And the fangirl/slash stuff is definitely part of it. A big part of it. It kind of bugs me, because honestly. I suck at het (though I want to be better) but. It's not exclusive and. There's a whole world of rant in there, somewhere.
