February writing round-up

[cross-posted to [livejournal.com profile] heretoutopia]

Not too much this month, due to distraction with other things. I'd love to say it's because I worked fervently on my [livejournal.com profile] tardis_bigbang piece, but since that stands at the grand total of not quite 1,800 words...not so much.

And I still have all the prompts you gave me, never fear. I'm saving them for when I need to write something that doesn't have a rapidly approaching deadline. Meep.

Torchwood stories

Quietus
For [livejournal.com profile] pwcorgigirl, Owen-centric team-fic. "I'm a doctor not a prehistoric vet."

Downtime
Written in haste for [livejournal.com profile] taffimai. Missing scene from 'Sleeper'. For all that Jack said it wouldn't, Gwen found it hard to believe that his luck was never going to run out.

A longing to inquire
For [livejournal.com profile] dark_aegis. London, 1941. At the height of the Blitz, two people meet in the bombed out East End.

High
Silly ficlet for [livejournal.com profile] seti_drd. It's a tough job, but Jack's up to the challenge

SGA Stories

Five missions reports Sheppard's team turned in (and one they didn't)
Gen version of my [livejournal.com profile] sga_santa piece. I think the title says it all.

Research
Ronon-drabble, for [livejournal.com profile] bironic

Some Assistance Required
Probably my favourite story of the month. [livejournal.com profile] greyias gave me the Office Paperclip as a prompt, and this was the result. What's a team for, if not to lend a helping hand?

It's proving surprisingly useful when I can't remember what I've written!

(Max? I picked it for the text and image, I'm afraid. Should have checked the fandom... *embarrassed cough*)

It's good text and a good image! Max Eilerson, just in case you want to know, is from the Babylon 5 spin-off Crusade. He's...sort of what would happen if you combined Daniel Jackson and Rodney McKay. Brilliant, sarcastic, never met a language he didn't like, and...kind of crap with people.
