I knew I should have memmed it...
Jan. 18th, 2007 08:17 amI'm trying to track down something that I really should have put into my memories when I found it - I hope someone else remembers it, or I'm going to look even blonder than usual...
It was a long essay type piece on 'out of character'ness in fanfiction. The writer was using Nick and Greg from CSI as an example, but it was a general piece as well. There were diagrams with little blue and red spots to illustrate how to get from one point to another. I'm pretty sure it got recced in a House community somewhere, but can't face the thought of trawling through all those archives, not really knowing what I'm looking for.
It was a fascinating and well-written study, and I went to quote it to someone else, only to go "ummm, no actually, I can't remember anything about it. sorry" which is just plain embarrassing :S
Anyone else out there remember it? Point me in its general direction? I've tried Googling, but it doesn't come up.
