March writing round up. Such as it is
Mar. 31st, 2008 04:17 pmWell, I promised myself that I was going to do this every month in 2008. Unfortunately since I spent most of March working on my (somewhat stalled)
tardis_bigbang story, my
sga_genficathon story (telling you anything about it would somewhat defeat the 'anonymous posting' thing) and a
sga_flashfic story that got somewhat out of hand, there's not much to report. Ooh, there was the modding, of course, during which I read over 30 stories, some of which were seriously long. Maybe if I added all the words I've beta'd to this list, it'd look less pathetic... And I did get distracted by SGA silliness and audiofic.
Speaking of audiofic, if you've been thinking of having a go but haven't quite plucked up the courage, check out
amplificathon. It's an audiofic challenge, encouraging people to get more fandoms recorded and uploaded as well as introduce more people to the audiofic experience. All you writers out there, expect many emails from me over the next week as I choose my entries :) Or if you've got something you'd love to have read, (yours, mine, someone else's) drop me a line and I'll see what I can do. No promises, but I'll try anything once.
Anyhoo, on with the round-up ( such as it is: )
