Anyone want to lend me a floor to sleep on/share a room/give me a couple of hundred pounds to afford the air fare?

Flight London-Chicago = £581
Train Chicago-Minneapolis = £92 (yes, 8 hours, but 1/4 of the price of flying)
Hotel room ~ £200 (if £30 a night average is possible)

Total = £873 for travel and accommodation. Plus food and entry and oh, lots of other stuff.

What do we think? Sell my typing services? Sponsored write-athon? Sell a kidney? Sadly, I don't have kids, or I could pawn one of them...
