I may have to make this journal adult-rated...

Seen on the front of this week's "Library + Information Gazette":

Can RFID help you find your 'sweet spot'?

Before anyone asks, this is RFID. While I'm aware that it's kind of a boring subject, there must be other ways to make people read your article...

The RFID link doesn't work, but that is a bit of an odd front page phrase, whatever it's advertising.

Ah, radio frequency identification, according to google. It just gets weirder...

Huh. It works fine for me.

It stands for Radio Frequency IDentification, which is a smart chip they put in books, for things like self-checkout and automatic stock takes.

*snores*

Yeah. I think it's all a cunning ploy to make you think it's interesting...

Well, it's obviously racy stuff.

The link didn't work for me either - it's got your journal address at the beginning of it. But when I deleted that part, it redirected to the Wikipedia entry fine. And on the bright side, I got to see one of the amusing LJ 404 messages. :)

And... yeah. "Sweet spot" sounds like a dirty trick to get you to read the article!

Ack, drat. Thanks.

*snort* It was definitely a 'did they really print that?' kind of thing...

It didn't work for me either but it's LJ, doing that stupid thing it does sometimes and adding the URL onto the end of yours :(

Argh.

Oops.

Thanks.
