This was a pinch-hit for a request that specifically requested delirious!John - the image of a confused, frightened, hurting Sheppard holding a gun on an unimpressed Rodney was the first image that came to my head. I don't think he really knows what he's doing at that point of the story, just that there are people out to get him and he feels safer with a gun in his hand ;)
