Basically Turing spends the whole novel being sickly and emo and pining after a blonde girl, Claire..something. *can't be arsed walking to bookshelf*. She helped Puck (Pukowski, Polish cryptographer, don't know if he actually existed...) betray the British by letting the Germans know that they'd cracked Enigma. I think. It's been a while since I read it.
Basically, while a few of the other men are faintly flirty in that terribly British sort of way, there's no sign that Turing is anything other than straight.
Which now annoys me. Because I am a screaming fangirl, and a perfectionist. Why can't people just tell stories honestly any more? *pouts*
