Part of the reason I came back to CM was reading a post by synecdochic about the portrayal of humanity in the show. It shows you the depths of horror but also the depths of compassion and humanity. I probably have my own meta to write about this, about how the team are allowed to be human in a way that's rare on other shows (Torchwood is actually another that I would put in that category and I do have a sort of crossover bubbling away in my brain)
The episode tag is currently writing itself, but I'm quietly hopeful. Well. I'm hopeful that it'll be a good story. I don't yet know whether I can be hopeful about the ending.
