I too am usually in the "let's leave it unresolved" camp. Admittedly, this is partially because I have difficulty writing explicit sex. But I also just like keeping that longing there; in many cases, after all, that's much more realistic.
I like the fact that your Jack has his own moral system. He may have been a conman, but there are certainly some lines he won't cross. If that weren't so, he'd be a hell of a lot less sympathetic (if not totally unsympathetic). He would, however, be extremely SCARY. Sociopathic Jack would be one individual I would be very, very careful not to anger.
I'm currently having some difficulty getting Kara and Felix to believe that they are actually on Earth (albeit a different Earth) and that Tosh and Jack are not Evil Cylons. But I did skip ahead and write a lot of melancholy (and quite possibly MAUDLIN) Jack and Felix interaction. I like exploring Torchwood!Jack's dark side. It's very hard to get that just right, though, because I don't think that all of his exuberance is faked. He genuinely enjoys life...and yet he feels trapped because he just can't die. So complex and fascinating, he is! And such a joy to watch on the screen...and to read about in your stories.

Okay, I shall stop rambling, now.
