Yeah, I learned the flute before the recorder, so I keep trying to use flute fingerings on the recorder. Oops. Luckily, they're not all that different. My husband plays the clarinet, and it's way more confusing.

Flutes and alto saxes have very similar fingerings, so if you want to learn a reed instrument, you've got a head start there, anyway. [g]
