Migraines are ick. I always get the lights and the weird sight thing quite a while before the headache kicked in so am able to treat it before it incapacitates me.

What I would suggest is trying to go through the day and see if you can think of anything that might have been a trigger. While I used to get migraines from cheese in my teens (it's a family allergy thing) the #1 thing that triggers them now is failing fluorescent lights. Which is weird when you consider that strobe lights in clubs don't have the same effect.

Best treatment for me? Cool darkness and sleep.
