Change of plans

jadesfireOn Friday, I confidently declared that I would be back today, refreshed, re-caffeinated and ready for the week. In fact I am tired, in pain and waiting for my rather shortened day to finish. Best laid plans of mice and men etc etc.
There's so much I want to write about, from the trials and tribulations of thesis submission (keep track of those references, folks!) to the zoo to a wonderful meal by the river and a magical walk along the South Bank, but it's all going to have to wait until I am no longer buried under invoices and books and spreadsheets.
Hope y'all are well and had a nice weekend. I'll try to catch up on comments from last week tomorrow, when I don't want to curl up round a hot water bottle and cry.
