Being able to do two things at once is definitely the big appeal of crochet. And that I don't have to be in the right headspace for it, nor do I have to come up with something of my own - I can follow someone else's pattern, or at least, I will once I learn how to read them ;)
I like the attitude behind the AO3, and the tagging system makes my little librarian heart beat faster. The main problem is going to be finding the time for uploading everything - I never did use my Teaspoon account properly :S
