Thank you for the WC fic. I especially liked the verbal banter back and forth between the characters.
However, minor point of accuracy -- GPS tracking anklets (law enforcement ankle monitors) do not work this way. You cannot take them off and then re-attach them. The ankle band is integrated into the tracking unit and fiber optic strands run within the band. The only way to take off the tracker is to cut the band -- which will immediately trigger a silent alarm to the monitoring station (in this case the US Marshals Office). Once a band is cut or disassembled it is non-functional and must be replaced with an entirely new unit, which then needs to be activated by law enforcement.
I know that this wasn't really the point of your fic, but the technical impossibility kind of threw me out of the story. I hope this concrit is received positively and that you'll keep writing WC fic.
