Thank you for the comment, and concrit is always welcome, especially when my facts are wrong. I didn't realise that they'd always cut the anklet because they have to, rather than for dramatic effect, and can absolutely understand how that would throw you out of the story. Normally I research everything to death, but that aspect didn't even occur to me (I'm generally better with physics than electronics!)

Um, also, I really hope you didn't feel you *had* to comment anonymously because you were putting me right, especially when it's something that's quite easy to fix! I really, really appreciate your comment, and am glad you were able to enjoy some of the story despite the impossibility. I'll make the correction before I archive it.
