It's nice to know I'm not crazy on my own

As some of you may remember, last week saw The Teddy Bear Party, where Teddy had a fine visit to the library.

Not to be outdone, my other half decided that Teddy should spend the day in the lab as well.



Of course, on your first day, there are always forms to fill out, but there was a bit of a delay getting Teddy's to print.



Then there's the health check. Height, weight, that kind of thing.



Then there's a general induction to lab equipment.













Teddy even got a special safety harness to let him reach the taps.



And there was more safety equipment for dangerous experiments.



You can't be too careful.



And always check thoroughly that equipment is working.



Don't try this at home, kids! Liquid nitrogen is not a toy and real chemists wouldn't dream of playing with it in the lab *cough*

I'm now regretting never having taken a toy to my old lab! :(

(ps. ohmygoodness, trying to find the parens keys when I'm not looking at the keyboard at all is very hard! ... I can touch type letters! That has to count for something!)
