I am stupidly nervous about doing this, because the only thing worse than taking prompts and not filling them is asking for prompts and not getting any at all.

But. *deep breath*

The Jadesfire Fic Shop is open for prompting. Fandoms available include:

~ Doctor Who (not seen last series, but any up to there),
~ Torchwood/Jack Harkness (not Children of Earth or Miracle Day, though)
~ SGA
~ Criminal Minds
~ Sapphire and Steel
~ Sherlock
~ Merlin

Crossovers with Discworld or other fandoms you know I know are welcome, and for those of you with long memories, I'll consider Sic Transit Tempus prompts, although I may have to do some catch-up reading first ;)

Any prompts you like - pictures, words, lyrics, scenes, anything at all. When I try to write at the moment, I can almost heard the wheels in my head creaking with all the rust, so any help you can give me to oil them would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Feel free to shoot me, but I would dearly love Ianto to meet the Librarian. They could discuss archiving and whether coffee is better than a good banana, lol!

I never give prompts, so I hope I do this right.

I like when people cross Criminal Minds over with other fandoms. I would love to see your thoughts on the BAU team getting called in on a series of brutal killings where the bodies always mysteriously disappear. Only to find out that it is really Jack getting killed over and over. Imagine it as a long plotty epic with humor, but really just write one or two scenes, whatever strikes your fancy.

Your choice of fandom and character:

I've had my conscious bent
I've had my patience tried
I've been up in the desert
And down by the riverside

morgynleri: Fandom means never having to say, "But where would I wear that?" (fandom)

I was looking at the list of fandoms and not able to make up my mind on which I'd be more interested in seeing combined with the lyrics. :) That song has recently become one of my favorites (and is currently in an Avengers mix and in a Criminal Minds mix and the mix that is songs that keep me from melting down or blowing up at things).

No worries about the links. I actually had figured either things came up, or just time difference things got it missed. (I still have not yet managed to trust notifications to make it where they're supposed to.)

*hugs you* I hope things settle out enough for you to catch up soon.

SGA? *ears perk up* I have an awful hankering for a little fic in which John has come down with plain old 'flu and Rodney keeps pestering him:

"Shepard? Psst, Shepard, you up yet?"

John pulls the ends of his too-hot pillow up over his ears. "Rodney, remember when you were a hypochondriac?"

"I'm better now," Rodney replies brightly.

The rising note of his voice dials John's headache up a notch. He feels worse than during the first year-away mission that combined a little light torture and heat exhaustion with a wicked case of food poisoning.

"I'm not. Go away. And this time, stay away."
