jadesfireOh heavens, I am behind on literally everything, and am so tired that I keep forgetting to breathe deeply enough to not fall over (no, really, it’s a thing)
BUT I lucked out so hard in Yuletide and got 2 stories that I must share! Apologies for formatting, but I’m on mobile and it hates Rich Text as much as I hate trying to add html tags with an iPad keyboard!

What I love most about this is the POV. Hernando sounds spot on in character - worried, compassionate, practical, caring and devoted. It’s so lovely.
Weave (Doctor Strange)

Spell by spell, the cloak is given life.
The Cloak of Levitation was honestly my favourite thing in the film, and this is now my official headcanon for how it came to be. The details are wonderful, the story hangs together perfectly, and it made me grin at the end. It’s ingenious and, even if you didn’t like the film, more than worth a read.
I also got a great gift in The Defenders Secret Santa:

Nelson and Murdock are hometown heroes and some of Hell's Kitchen's most in-demand lawyers. How did the heck did that happen? Post Season 1.
We all put in prompts for these things, knowing full well that they are optional. But sometimes, just sometimes, it turns out to be exactly the prompt the writer needed. And that’s what happened here. I got the exact story I wanted for Matt and Foggy between seasons, and it’s a wonderful slice of life leading perfectly into season two. It’s even better than what I had in my head and I couldn’t be happier.
I also wrote four stories for Yuletide and my own for the secret Santa. There are only 12 stories in the secret Santa so that’s possibly not much of a challenge. My four for Yuletide are in four different fandoms, and I would actually be kind of surprised if anyone spots them. I’ll have stuff to say about them after reveal in a few days but I’m intrigued if anyone thinks they found any of them, as I know that it least some of you read in the fandoms.
Oh, and next year? Someone please remind me not to be on the pinch hit mailing list!
