We’re away from home at the moment, and while the iPad is great for reading DW and leaving short comments, this is the first time I’ve actually connected a keyboard to it, and been able to *post*.

I’m going to catch up on the Snowflake Challenge tomorrow, once I’m at a proper computer again, but do go and check out people’s Day 5 posts if you need resources of ANY kind. There are so many, I’m fighting the urge to go through all the comments and create a Masterlist. Please, someone tell me that this will take too much time, even if it would be insanely useful. Please.

Also, hi, new folk! *waves* I’m going to try to post more regularly to DW this year. Also, LJ people, I see you, but I have totally forgotten my password, so need to reset that before I can reply (sorry, Blackmare!). I thought it would be worth saying that when I’m not here, I’m on Instagram and Twitter as Jadesfire2808, if you fancy seeing what I’m up to.

Even if you don’t in general, may I commend to you my last few Instagram posts? We went to an AMAZING Winnie the Pooh exhibition on Friday, and I took ALL THE PICTURES.

Speaking of which, what are people using for image hosting these days? I’m happy using Imgur for my podfic covers, but would like something different for personal stuff. Flickr? All advice gratefully received :)

It’s back to reality tomorrow, but this morning, I’m sitting in a hotel lounge, with nothing more to worry about than what to have for breakfast (it’s an amazing spread. I could get used to this!), so if you’ll excuse me, I need to get back to that.

Ooh, yeah, I need to find a new image host. Everything's still on Photobucket and it wasn't until I found I couldn't view a lot of other people's old images that I realised that probably no-one else can see mine now either!

It’s so frustrating! Photobucket made it so easy. I’m struggling to find somewhere that offers the same while still being easy to use. I should probably look harder at Flickr. Will let you know if I find anything!

Tbh I've never found Photobucket very easy either (and always REALLY slow), but I guess that's because I'm not a pictures person and never used it enough!

Hubby uses Flickr so might be able to get some IT help with that one! :-D

Right now I'm using Dreamwidth's hosting. It works for me, but otoh I don't make a lot of image-heavy posts. (Except for the stitching ones, heh.)

I hear very good things about Imgur, but yeah, it's always a good idea to keep personal from fandom separate.

Hah, I am having the no-keyboard problem myself, because I forgot my newer iPad --the one with the keyboard case -- at my brother's place in Florida. It is en route back to me, and meanwhile I do have my desktop machine here at home, but I've been down with something flu-like and reading from bed. So, not at my desk so much.

If I made a comment you haven't replied to, take heart: I have zero memory of it and thus had not noticed.

Ugh, sorry you're so sick :/ I have 'sign into LJ' on my list, because I went to reply to you and couldn't, but I'm glad you didn't just think I was ignoring you!
