Telepathy, mind-sharing, whatever. It’s not so much a favourite trope as a deep and abiding kink. Honestly, I’m now fussy about it because I’ve read so much good stuff, I demand it of everything else. If I’d been in the Star Trek TOS fandom, I would have ben all about the mind melds ;D
