Honestly? Pilates appealed because I have secretly always wanted to be a ballet dancer, and I heard that it's their exercise of choice for recovery. It's deceptively gentle, and concentrates on strength and posture over everything else. Once it's light enough, I shall start running in the mornings for the cardiac side of things, but I have all kinds of muscle pain - and judging by tonight's exercises, no muscles at all! - so I'm hoping this will help my back and shoulders.
I know exactly what you mean about a planner working. I've tried all sorts, but this is the first time anything's stuck. I'll get pics when I can!
