Plugged in, wired up, bring it on

I think it's safe to say that we are now ready to face the 21st century. We have *deep breath*

A flat screen TV (free standing)
A stereo with speakers (which is attached to the TV for better sound quality)
A freeview box
A video player
A DVD player
An Xbox (as of today)
5 scart leads (at least), a scart splitter and more cabling than I care to think about.

These are all on a single unit in the living room. Apparently the back looks like something out of the Matrix, and there was some hammering going on to adjust a shelf, but now, it's all on and we're ready anything :)

Of course, there's still nothing on TV and we don't have any Xbox games yet, but that's beside the point...

It's usually best to stay well away, in these situations. Our main LCD TV has the Sky HD box, a video and a home cinema DVD player. Just the 4 remotes, for that ;) Admittedly, the video doesn't seem to want to record, anymore, meaning we can't dub stuff off the Sky box...
