Icon meme
Icon meme, last scene at
rustydog's.
1. Reply to this post, and I will pick four of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon squee!!
Almost all my icons were chosen for 'mood' reasons, rather than fandom ones - I like having some that represent the fandoms that I'm in at the moment, but most of them express something about me. Oh dear...

One of my all-time favourite quotes from Doctor Who is from "The Time Warrior" (3rd Doctor and Sarah Jane):
Sarah: You're serious!
Doctor: About what I do, yes. But not necessarily the way I do it.
This is about as close as I get to a motto for life.

Given my propensity for being remarkably daft quite a lot of the time, and for coming up with 'cunning plans' that never quite come off, this one just seemed appropriate.

If I were to have a 'first fandom', Singin' in the Rain would be it. My husband and I can recite most of the film, and Gene Kelly makes me giddy. So when I was looking for 'Happy' icons, this one jumped out at me. Plus, I think the colours are just wonderful.

_wwsd_ made a whole load of this style icon, for all kinds of fandoms. I saved most of them but only use a few. This one again is a 'daft' icon - my mother maintains that intelligence and common sense are inversely proportional. Given some of the people we have come through the library, and my own tendency to acts of randomness, I'd have to agree with her.
