*Glares at flist*

Alright, come on now, own up. I'm pretty sure that one of you has been messing around either with a time machine or a weather controller. Either way, stop it right now or I'll...well, alright, all I can do is glare at you, but I'm a librarian. We own glaring.

Hand on heart, I swear that the pictures below were taken out of the study window this morning. And that it's 6th April.

Ooh, just while I'm here, I have not seen Doctor Who yet! Please don't spoil me!

Yeah, it's supposed to snow in Cardiff today, too. BRRRRR.

Good thing I brought my heavy jacket with me.

I am so confused! Haven't been outside yet, but I'm looking for my heavy boots again.

It's been sunny and warm this week! This makes no sense!

Hope you don't get too cold. *sends blankets*

It's very pretty, though, as long as you don't have to go anywhere in it. And it had all pretty much melted by midday. I just wish the weather would make its mind up!

Oxford looked like a postcard this morning - the trees were just stunning. It wasn't even too cold, although it was very slippery :)

Yup, woke up this morning, looked out of the window and promptly started gawping...2 inches of soft, white, fluffy snow! Now, I know they had been talking about it on the weather forecast but I was expecting a heavy-ish frost...not this! *goes off to find wellies*

Yep, my mum woke me up this morning with a "you'd better hope there are trains running, look at the weather!"

I'm quite pleased, really. Snow! =D I'm off to play in Highgate park as soon as I've wrapped up warm.

I first noticed through the bathroom window, which is frosted glass - all I could see (without my glasses on) was white. At first, I thought I was seeing things! Quite fun but very very odd...

Yeah, here in London too, where it never normally settles. And there I was thinking I'd missed any proper snow for this winter!

There you are - the weather clearly heard you ;) It's so unusual for it to settle in London, which is probably why I get so excited about it - I never really saw any growing up, so I'm making up for lost time!

Ooh pretty! It hasn't snowed here... yet. A few pathetic flakes, but nothing anywhere near as exciting as what you've got! I'm not convinced it will at all, even though it's forecast heavy showers *looks out of window at bright sunshine*

No snow here at the moment (it's nice and sunny like it hasn't been in yonks), but it was predicted here, too. It just doesn't seem to have showed up.

I'm pretty sure I can remember a few years back that we had snow even later in April, and that my labmates were outside having a snowball fight. In any case, either snow or sun is much better than rain and dreary skies, if you ask me.

The weird bit is, April is when they start getting the punts out of storage in Oxford. It would have been a bit chilly for that today! But snow is definitely more fun than rain, especially when it's the proper fluffy stuff like this!

I had the same thing this morning - I have lots of pics from out of the window, and one from out of the front door. Snow! The weatherman had predicted it, but I didn't believe 'em.

Will post pictures later. It is a strange thing, to see a palm tree with snow on.

*giggle* See, I knew someone on my flist was to blame. Just...don't do it again. I'll ring when I want to build my next snowman ;)

We walked through it, got dripped on and went 'ooh, pretty!' quite a lot, but didn't really get the chance to play. Plus, I only have leather gloves, and doubted they'd ever forgive me for making a snowman whilst wearing them :)

Hi there! Coffee's at the back, help yourself to cream and sugar. :)

Nice to meet you - I love it when people say hello as well as friending me. Excuse the crazy around here - you get used to us. I've got one SGA fic in the works, but things are going to be pretty Torchwood-y around here for a while, as I'm working on a Big Bang story that's about to eat my life. Still, anyone who brings biscuits is always more than welcome :) *muches* Thanks!

Welcome aboard!
