Saving my sanity (and my eyesight)
Jun. 17th, 2008 11:01 amI really hate doing this, and thought about turning comments off. Then I decided that I keep telling people that their journals are their own spaces and they can do what they want with them, and I like to stand by what I say.
So.
After some thought and basic maths (because skipping 500 entries just on journals is insane), I've decided that I need to trim my friends list. I'm stopping watching a whole bunch of comms, but I've also decided to take some personal journals off my list to make it a manageable size. It's tempting to make excuses and give justifications, but what it comes down to is that I'm doing it, and hopefully won't be taking off anyone who wanted to stay on.It would help if 'friend' wasn't such an emotive word, but that's a side issue. I post a reasonable amount of stuff publicly, and am obsessive about replying to all comments, so you're not missing too much. I just need to cut down on my own reading list.
Hopefully I now stand a chance of being able to talk to people more, rather than less. Or at least I'm going to try to. And if you think I took you off in error, drop me a comment/PM to let me know.
