Summary: Still, looking into her own eyes, she finds it hard to remember that she is not the girl she was fifteen years ago, the lonely girl she felt, weighed down with grief in her heart and a kingdom to rule. The grief remains, the kingdom flourishes, and while she is rarely alone now, she is still lonely.

Notes: If it's even possible to accidentally write a story, then that's what happened. After Diamond of the day I found myself not so much wondering about Merlin and Arthur, but about Gwen. Then I picked up a prompt from fleete through the snowflake_challenge, and this just sort of…happened.
