Fic posted to [livejournal.com profile] gateverse_remix (Genus: Wraith; Teyla-centric Gen; PG; here). Other fic can be written at home, and there'll be no comments for a while yet (assuming there are any) because America is still at work. Or something. And I can't post the [livejournal.com profile] sgabigbang preview until tomorrow. From work, where there is internet.

Have posted 3 times today. This is more than any friendslist should reasonably be expected to stand for.

Rang the insurers. Insurers computer down. Ringing insurers tomorrow. Need stuff from home to ring other people to change details.

Have moving-type things to do at home. Have no internet at home. Husband also not at home. Which means no dinner until he is at home. There's no incentive to move. Only the long list of stuff to do.

Must leave computer and go home.

Must. Leave. Computer.

You know, I'm not going to have the internet at all for FOUR DAYS at the end of this week. That's so not worth thinking about...

...

My name is Jadesfire and I'm an webaholic...

no internet for 4 days? *pets* poor baby. There's no coffee shop offering free internet nearby?

There are, but I think my husband might get a bit miffed if I spend the four days we're supposed to be moving at the nearest cafe ;) Ah well, I shall just have to concentrate on writing!

*pats* I feel your pain, Jadesfire, for I too am a webaholic. However, you are strong, you are woman, you shall persevere! (And possibly find a webcafe like [livejournal.com profile] donutsweeper suggested to feed the fixation in the meanwhile.

*giggle* It's not easy, is it? I'm sure there are webcafes near us, but I may return to find that my husband has locked me out of our new flat for not helping him move our stuff...

*pets* That's what public libraries and cafes with wi-fi connections are for ;) As a member of staff, are you not entitled register your laptop to the University's network free of charge? Then again, I suppose that only helps you out when you're near the university...

Heh, it also only helps if you're not supposed to be helping the other half lug boxes around... Don't think I'll be his favourite person ever if I abscond to check my email ;)

*clings* It's going to be terrible! My other half and I are having to...you know...talk to each other. It's a real shock to the system ;)

Internet withdrawal sucks, I can attest. My tools are having plenty of paper, a good pen, and radio/audio at the ready.

Or find places that have wifi! Assuming you're not busy unpacking and such - that can be pretty time consuming. Though it sure is nice to be able to take a break and check the net. ::hugs::

Heh, I think I'm going to be too busy unpacking boxes and scrubbing floors to notice, hopefully. It's going to be a real shock to the system, though...
