I swear, every time I take a holiday, the weeks get shorter. In lieu of actual content since, you know, I'm on holiday and not really doing anything, have some shiny links:

Not something I'd come across before, but oh, what a fantastic idea! You post a list of up to TEN fannish things you would like (art, fic, vids, whatever) then see what you can offer other people. My list is here (mostly art/vid requests), and I'd love to add to my WIP list for you guys :D

Also, I have an early birthday present that's making me squee and the house smells of gingerbread. Mmmmmm... These things make me happy. As does lunch, which I am now off to eat before coming back to offer people stories and happyfic.

Oh, that's so cool! Most requests were for slash fic, which...well, not my strong point in writing, so I'm just going to keep skimming until someone posts a request I can actually do! Although the Sinbad AU is haunting my brain...

Hee, I know what you mean about vacation. In contrast, as I was going to bed last night I was just thinking mournfully to myself, "I can't believe it's not Thursday yet, surely we've almost finished the week?"

The Happyfest rules and prompts post looks great! It's nicely formatted and the rules seem clear. Good work and yay!

I just keep telling myself that I only have to work for 8 days, then I have another week off. That makes everything better :D
