Writing breaks my brain

There's a line in an SGA story where Rodney threatens to explode in sheer, bitter fury. It's possible that I identify with him just a little bit too much, but oh good grief I understand the feeling at the moment.
Sometimes I really wish I got writer's block. What I get instead is writer's junk, where I can churn out the words, and it's not that they suck, it's just that they don't say what I thought they were going to say, which is hugely, immensely frustrating. It's also possible that I depend on Z to an unhealthy degree to pull me out of these funks and tell me what I'm thinking, but I absolutely can't write in a vacuum. I need input and I need someone to tell me when I'm wrong and what I need to do instead. *stamps foot* BT, I really, really hate you right now.
I am going to put my writing woes up in
heretoutopia today, so anyone who's on the filter (or wants to be) and wants to wander over and help me wrangle the story into some semblance of order, or just bounce ideas around with me, I'd be more grateful than I can say. Until I get this
artword fic done, I don't think I can start anything else. It's taking over my brain and I need rid of it.
In the meantime, I need to get *something* written, so. Anyone who wants, go check out the prompt list at
bringthehappy and pick one for me. Any fandom you think I might know. I'm in too much of a flail to choose and I write better to order anyway. I can't promise a full ficlet, but drabbles usually get me going again and they're something of a speciality.
Help!

Date: 2008-09-04 11:31 am (UTC)BT, I really, really hate you right now.
This problem has been going on for quite a long time, hasn't it? Yuck. ::hugs::
I thought I preferred writing in a vacuum but my current experience has made me wonder about that.

I definitely don't like writing in a vacuum. I'm a classic extravert and need external input - normally I don't know what I think until I say it to someone! So trying to write on my own just doesn't work. The help is so much appreciated, thank you! :D

Remind me to email you the edition of the Now Show with Marcus Brigstocke's BT rant once you're up and running again...

I seem to produce much junk at the moment, and for some reason I just can't see if it's good or not and I always fear it's getting too long in the end.
