In which there is Saturday

*waves madly* Did you miss me yesterday?

*puts fingers in ears to block out deafening silence*

;D

Am at my mother's, sneaking onto her wireless for a few minutes before getting on with the day. I had a good time at Canary Wharf yesterday, and there's a whole post to follow this, probably entitled "last time I was here, there were cows". Because there were. Anyway, the course was good, as was the shopping, and I met an old friend for coffee, which was great.

Hope everyone's having a good weekend and I'll catch up on Monday. Any bets on the number of pages I'll have to go back on my flist? I'm going for skip=180... Also, I am informed that my Saturday morning treat of having breakfast in my pyjamas instead of having to get dressed is a strange one. Is it? Surely other people do stranger things on a Saturday morning (keep it clean, folks ;))

So assuming I don't get blown off my feet like yesterday, or buried under the pile of my old stuff in my old room and never manage to dig my way out again, see you soon!

*waves again*

Did you miss me yesterday?

*bellows* YES!

As for breakfast in pyjamas - I always have my breakfast in pyjamas. Saves me ruining my work clothes if I'm clumsy and accidentally spill something.

Ditto above! Exactly!

But some times on Saturday I have lunch in my pjs too. If I'm being excessively lazy. (And usually only if I've slept in nearly to lunch)

...what's strange about eating breakfast in pyjamas? Is it the fact that you only do it on Saturdays? That could be considered odd, as I guess most people eat breakfast that way most days (as Chrys says, less disastrous if you throw coffee over yourself. Not that I've ever done that of course...).

And yes, of course we missed you! Enjoy the rest of your weekend *waves back*

I do everything in my pajamas when I'm home! They're my "around the house" clothes. I do live alone, which probably makes a difference, but when I'm visiting my family, none of us ever gets dressed until after breakfast, any day of the week.

Have a nice weekend!

P.S. Did you tell us about the cows before? Could you tell me again?

I've just had lunch in my pyjamas. Is that stranger than breakfast? And yes I did miss you.

Nothing wrong with not getting dressed for breakfast on Saturdays (of course they would look at me if I went to my son's swimming lesson like that at 9.30) so you enjoy it!

Your treat is one shared by many. I have breakfast in my PJs every Saturday (truth be told, I'd wear my pajamas until noon every day if I could). Even my husband, who makes the Amish look frivolous, eats Saturday breakfast in his pajamas most of the time.

We should start a Saturday breakfast club at which pajamas are mandatory dress! :D

I can't think of the last time I didn't have breakfast in my pjs, except when I went out :) Ah, the life of a student.

Glad you're having fun!

That's not strange at all. DO the people that think it is NOT get dresed until after breakfast on a work day?? I know when my children were really little and I was still working in an office I did that on the basis that
office clothes + baby food + toddler = not turnng up neat and tidy

I'm thinking skip 260 - it looks like a busy weekend to me.
