Did someone set fire to Hertford College this morning? I shall be very cross if it was the Bodleian - readers have to promise not to kindle a flame in there and everything. But as I came back from my lunch hour, there were 2 fire engines and one of those engines with a lift on top, parking outside Hertford.

Has someone been playing with matches again?

*giggle* No, but it is interview time. I'm thinking someone got nervous, decided to calm their nerves and forgot that colleges are non-smoking ;)
