Since my sga_santa is so overdue already, I've opened up the googledoc to my betas, to get instant feedback and corrections. What I hadn't counted on is that they might start talking amongst themselves. Details have been omitted to preserve my ficly anonymity for the challenge.

Me: [*writes a paragraph of Thrilling Action*]
Donutsweeper: (this seems ooc for Sheppard, he always does X)
Rustydog:(Maybe Y was going on)
Donutsweeper: That would work, but then would need to be made more clear- that he did Z first in order to do Y, that sort of thing.
Me: Ladies, please! No fighting in the editorials! Yeah, the idea was Y. Will fix.
Donutsweeper: But pistols at dawn were up next! No fair!

*pets them*

I'm at home all day today, as is the other half who's still down with a lurgy, poor thing (before anyone asks, it's not man-flu - he's quite ill :S). Looking at the state of the flat (and him) booking these few days of holiday was a very good idea. There's a long list of stuff to get done, but today I might actually have the time to do it \o/ I like days off.

How's everyone else? I'm very jealous of you guys who have snow, but hope everyone's keeping warm. Apart from in_the_bottle who I hope is keeping cool ;) I'll try not to spam you today but time off means more time for posting. Mwahahahahahaha

ETA: *flail* I CAN HAS DUKS! You know how we live right by the river? You didn't? Oh. Anyway, we live right by the river and sometimes feed the ducks from the living room window. This morning, they were right up on the lawn so I went and sat on the front doorstep and fed them! And they cam right over to take it out of my hand *flails*

I think this morning is now officially made of awesome.

Hahha! Me too! I will be committing fic on Saturday and hoping I can get it done for Monday. Unlike last year, I will not stress about it. Ain't worth it.;

Yeah, with so many people taking part, and with so many other challenges going on, I think lots of us are waaaaay behind. *shrugs* De nada. I want to write something I'm really happy with, and if that means it's late, then it's late. The stress isn't going to make it a better story!

I'm guessing the ducks were on your lawn because they're thinking 'freezing water' vs. 'heated home' and drawing the logical conclusion.

Strange enough, the weather seemed rather pleasant... it's raining now. And I'm still getting my scarf out in the morning when I head to work.

Let's hope it stays this way all summer since we really need the rain, and the less bushfire we get the better it is.

Opening up a googledoc to more than one personat a time is *insane* *nods*
Even if they are people who have never spoken they will gang up on you and get all chummy and have side convos unless you keep a very sharp eye on them!
