I've created this post to bring all the stories in "The Waiting Years" together, and hopefully make them easier to find. You can read them in any order you like – they more or less stand alone – but they might work better in the order I wrote them!
Comments and concrit are always welcome, no matter how old the story is. Hope you enjoy.
The Waiting Years I: Lost and Found Everyone needs somewhere to belong, even Jack. (~2500 words)
The Waiting Years II: Coming Back Working for Torchwood doesn't exactly turn out as Jack had hoped. (~9200 words)
The Waiting Years III: Shangri-La Jack, a car, a driver and a rainy night in Wales. What could go wrong? (~3400 words)
The Waiting Years IV: The Shape of Things When several RAF officers are attacked, Torchwood is called to investigate. (~9200 words)
The Waiting Years V: Promise In a tight corner, Jack always has a plan. (~3900 words)
The Waiting Years VI: Jack, the Weevil and Me Life is never dull when Jack comes to town. (~6400 words)

Glad you enjoyed these - I still can't get Jack and Spike to behave themselves, so Bonus Track 2 may take a while. Nice to meet you!
