Who's who in American Television? Well, in I've got Zoe from Firefly as a police officer and Stephen Cauldwell from Stargate: Atlantis as the bad guy. Not that it's not nice to see them, but it's kind of distracting...

Also, I really need Criminal Minds icons.

*goes to hunt*

Hee. I know you can play the same trick with Canadian actors, but it's the first time it's come up for me with US ones. And two in one show!

Seing Cauldwell be the bad guy was surreal. The guy is such a good actor that I didn't actually recognise him at first!

Australia is very good for actor spotting I always find :D

(Right now we are watching a (much) younger version of Kim Cattrell in "The Outer Limits" on Virgin 1 OH! and it has the original DOctor from SG1 in it...)

*giggle* One of the original Charlie's Angels showed up in Criminal Minds, as did Dawson (from Dawson's Creek). I love playing actor bingo ;D

It's fun - though I normally need husband to tell me who I am looking at I tend to sit there flapping my hand and going "Look it's THINGY from whotsit" till he looks up and fills in the blanks. What makes it worse is he can even do it for people in full alien get up *hates him*.

You sound like my husband. Whenever films are mentioned, I automatically name the lead actor(s), because that's what my grandmother used to do (she knew every film from the 30s, 40s and 50s). J just sort of looks at me blankly and goes 'who'?

Full alien get-up, though? that's impressive...

I'm possibly, better with film - up to about the late 80s - hubby and I used to go quite a lot when we were "young and in lurve" Just don't ask me to put the right plot with the right title, because I shall *fail*

Full alien get-up, though? that's impressive...
Makes me sick! :D

Hee! A new variant on actor bingo \o/ It's a fun game, isn't it? Although yes, somewhat distracting - I remember having to stop watching CSI:New York one time because I couldn't get past the woman who played Victoria in due South being in it. Shouting 'Dief almost-killer!' at the screen is not conducive to following a plot :D

*giggle* Yeah, that's not going to help. It can be surreal when someone you know well turns up in a random location, although I'm generally alright with it if they're playing a different enough character. When they're kind of similar, my brain does not cope so well...
