I'm home sick, what with the falling over all over the place and the cramps, so maybe it's that messing with my head. But.

I couldn't watch a lot of this because of my squeamishness, but the second hour was much better for me. Good, strong solid episode, without apparently worrying that it's an end of seasoner, and nice suggestions along the way so that we don't know who's going to crack/be cracked at the end.

More later, but the thing I can't get out of my head right now? In the last scene where Hotch gets home and pours himself a drink? There's a cocktail shaker on the drinks cabinet. I always thought of Hotch as a single malt kind of guy. Am I wrong? Did it come with the set? Has he used it? What's his signature drink?

Inquiring minds need to know!

What's his signature drink?

Grey Goose Martini. Shaken; not stirred. He calls it the "Hotchman" when no one's around.

YOU KNOW HE DOES. *sporfle*

He learned to make cocktails while he was a prosecutor, while he was living in DC but before Hayley moved out to join him. Instead of going home to an empty apartment, he went to a bar around the corner from the office and would watch the barman in between working on cases. Being Hotch, when he watches, he really *watches*, and by the time Hayley arrived, he could make all the cocktails on the bar's menu, as well as having a few ideas of his own.

They renamed the Hotchman "the Jack special". For reasons that don't need going into.

:D

Or the shaker came as part of the set and he's too anal to get rid of it.
