It's just that kind of day

I'm sorting out my wardrobe to see what clothes I have and what I need for the summer. Everything's on hangers or folded in piles on the bed. I have fewer skirts but more dresses than I thought, and my 3 good pairs of trousers are in the wash. It's like a cross-between a walk-in closet and a charity shop in here, but I recognise everything, which is a good sign.

What's not a good sign is that I was counting trousers and spent 5 minutes searching for my brown linen ones.

Which I'm wearing.

Hey, at least you had forgotten the trousers you were wearing rather than forgetting wearing your trousers!

And I've done that or similar before... my favourite was when I was looking for a hat, and I put my hand on my head (It's one of my 'thinking' gestures)-- so, on top of my hat-- and didn't even notice it. I had to ask a flatmate to help me find it....
