Whatever those (*&$%^&s are doing to social networking sites, it seems to be working, because I've lost LJ completely. If this post shows up there by some miracle, I'm over on Dreamwidth at jadesfire. Or possibly doing something actually productive although that's less likely.

This is going to make all my LJ-comm admin interesting today...

Come on, Livejournal, Twitter's working again *prods it*

ETA: Thanks to the folks who've told me they can see me. I can't get anywhere near LJ right now - it just says there's a problem opening the page and won't do it :( BOO!

Hi! I can see you on LJ. When LJ bothers to come up, that is. But Twitter's not working for me, at least not from the webpage. I can get TwitterFox to post, but that's about it. And my daughter was complaining about her Facebook not working.

My theory is that somebody doesn't have any friends, and they're ticked off at all the people who do.

P.S. Copperbadge has this to say: "So I disconnected my router, restarted it, reset the IP, and blam, functional LJ. IF YOU CAN'T SEE LJ, give this a shot. It's probably your IP that's the problem."

It's gorgeous. Soothing too. I really dislike the black from the original accounts. Maybe that's one of the reasons I never come here, I dislike the look so.

I was having real trouble a few days ago - to the extent where my LJ friends page was taking 15 minutes to load! My solution was to view LJ from behind hotspot shield which seemed to work http://www.hotspotshield.com/ and it eventually got better on its own for some obscure reason.

You might want to have a look at copperbadge's latest post--he found that it was his IP that was the problem, so when he rebooted his router? modem? something--he was able to get at LJ again.
