~ I cannot do 8 things at once, no matter how hard I try

~ Fans are, in general, pretty awesome folk.

~ Codeine does STRANGE things to my brain and my temperature. Very strange.

~ Trying to work while on codeine does not work. There's three hours I won't get back again.

~ I'm never going to be able to knit, but I like watching people do so

~ Never try to write html while utterly exhausted. The results are not pretty

~ I used to write good Housefic. Why did I stop?

~ My husband is made of awesomesauce ♥

~ Never try to work while on codeine. This bears repeating.

Hope y'all are well. This week is even more manic than predicted, which is quite the achievement, so I'll have to catch up NEXT week instead. When I'll be even further behind.

...no, I can't make that work either...

Oh, but codeine is fun. It makes everything fluffy and soft. I take it for my back, but yeah, I try to avoid it at work.

I don't get fluffy, I get bricks and strange noises.

lmao, gmail is advertising 'fake foam bricks' at me.
Strange noises? That's spooky. Like, audial hallucination?

It makes my tinnitus worse. MUCH worse. And as I have tinnitus 24/7 anyway it kind of gets a bit much. Hence the bricks - I'm banging my head against the wall.

Having really bad tinnitus also makes you disorientated and unbalanced which added to the other interesting effects of codeine makes me unsafe to go out of the house.

It's fun, as long as you have the time to enjoy it. Mostly, it made me confused, nauseated and hot. I'll try to make time for it next time ;)

Never try to work while on codeine

Actually, never try to do *anything* while on codeine. Except sleep.

I can tolerate a small dose, but anything more than 16mg and it's not pretty. I lost a lot of time when I was off with my ribs as I was on 30mg 3 times a day just so I could breathe through the pain. Is not a good feeling.

It doesn't normally hit me that hard, but I hadn't had much to eat. Not an experience I plan to repeat!

Yay, lists! *pets lists*

I knew the bits about codeine and coding and fen, but they do bear repeating :)

Yay for an awesomesauce husband!

*hugs* Best of luck on surviving this week.

Heh, mostly it means that I have an urge to dig out my DVDs... It's always nice to find that stuff you wrote 3 years ago doesn't suck after all :D

Ugh, I once had an incident in which oxycodone caused me to get so depressed I literally sat in a corner and bawled. For a long time.

A decade later, my chemistry had changed so that it merely made me warm, fuzzy, slightly unbalanced and definitely pain-free.

Strange stuff, that family of drugs. I wouldn't attempt to work while on them, either.

Also, I have faith that you will live to fanfic another day.

*hugs*

Eep, yes, opiates are definitely a strange family of drugs. Normally, they just make me pain free. Nausea, confusion and a temperature are new ones on me, and not an experience I plan to repeat!

Thanks :)
