Yes, I'm making up for not being here by spamming you completely. Your point?

The point of this post is that I am making it from my netbook! Reports of its demise were greatly exaggerrated, and thanks to J's skills with a USB stick, I'm up and running with Ubuntu Netbook Remix. I think I'm in love. Having used Linpus for the past couple of years, I didn't realise Linux could work this well. It's shiny and lovely and an absolute joy to use. Most excitingly, I can install updates and programmes whenever I want. I have VLC back and Spotify and all kinds of lovely things.
