Yesterday was a good day. I got lots done, felt productive and went to my last-ever London lecture. The writing went well on the bus home, helped by the traffic jam, and I generally felt that all was well with the world.

Even today was pretty good until I got back to my desk at about 3.15. Since then, I've been sleepy, headachy and my face has been twitching (the muscles round my eyes do that when I'm tired). Hopefully it'll go off soon, but I see lying down in a dark room in my future if it doesn't :S

Which is annoying, because I need to make appointments with (*deep breath*) the chiropractor, the hairdresser, the optician, the dentist, the hospital and the local mental health services. Yup, over Easter, I'm having myself MOT'd ;)

The sunshine is just wonderful, but what I mostly want to do is go lie on the grass outside and sleep *yawns*

What's "MOT'd"?

All UK cars have to have an MOT certificate to say that they're in a decent enough state to be on the road. It's like a basic health-check for a car.

Details here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOT_test) if you're really interested...

Aha, I see! I hope you get your certificate, then. :D

(English is CONFUSING. If you get a certificate, aren't you certified? But if you're "certified" or "certifiable", then that's a bad thing, right?)

*giggle* Yes, it is confusing. Judging by the rattling noise, our car is possibly certifiable right now...

Ahh, sunny spots on the grass outside always makes me want to be a cat. Then nobody would care if I wandered of to curl up there for a nap!

Good luck getting everything done! *hugs*

*nodnodnod* I went out around midday, and it was just lovely here. Perfect spring weather. 1 degree warmer, and I'll be able to stop wearing my winter coat \o/
