It's Friday night. No one's going to notice if I spam them. Probably.

I just took this picture of my craft stash, or at least the fibre parts of it. There's card and foam somewhere, but these are the drapey bits :)





Fabric, yarn, jar of yarn-ends, current projects (two of them) The blanket is a stash-buster, the hexagons are from a failed blanket experiment and will become a bag, and the bag for my mum needs sewing, finishing and lining. I know what I'm doing tonight.


Incidentally, if anyone wants the Sirdar purple boucle at the front left of the stash, it's yours. I love the texture but can't do a damn thing with it.

Nice stash. Doesn't come close to beating my cross stitch stash, which currently comprises of two stacked-to-the-brim 35-5/8" x 18-1/4" x 6-1/2" h under the bed storage units plus a couple of random bags + two stuffed full floss containers. Me, a hoarder? Never! *snicker* I think have more x-stitch projects than I can finish in a lifetime.

Heh, I know a lot of knitters like that. (Un?)Luckily, we live in a teeny-tiny flat, so getting more yarn than this isn't really an option.

Still. There's time. When we have a bigger place :)

Oh believe me, if the loved one had his way, the stash would be gone as we really don't have the space. He just suffers in silence though. That's what happens when you live in NYC though... not enough room for everything.

Oooh, you've a lovely stash! I think our stashes are about the same size... The size of mine is constrained by my containers, but I've decided to rearrange how I store things and thus I'm stealing away one of my yarn containers for other things, which means I have plans to get a (only slightly!) larger replacement container *is a sneaky fish*. :) Which means that if no-one else has claimed the boucle, I have a home for it and I'm sure I can come up with something fun to do with it :)

Me too but I try not to think on it too much-- as long as I've got a firm reason to not buy yarn it's much easier to not acquire more. :)

Whee! I shall keep my eyes out for it! Would you like me to look through my stash for a skein of something which looks like it might fit you? Or would you rather not add to the stash right now?

Ooh, if you have something non-wool that you're looking to de-stash, I'd love to do a swap! No worries if not, though. It'll be good to know the boucle is going to someone who can appreciate it, instead of it lurking at the back of my box making me feel guilty ;)
