I'm just finishing the latest Jasper Fforde novel, and she's caught the tone absolutely spot on.

Anything that can me make me laugh in my pre-caffienated state has got to be brilliant :D

Thank you for the 'no drinks' warning. I nearly fell off the sofa when I read this! I'm still chuckling.

I've never been able to get into the Jasper Fforde novels but then I only tried the first one...based on this maybe I should give them another go.

He's got two series now - the Nursery Crimes ones are slightly better than the Thursday Next ones, I think, although I loved The Eyre Affair.

Anyhoo, she's caught the mood just right - absolutely inspired.
