Dec. 19th, 2009 11:13 amOkay, I'll be back properly later, honest, to actually read all the tabs I have open, BUT! I had to run in and tell y'all:
We sold the eBook reader! I have no idea how he did it, but J managed to sell it, 6 days before Christmas, and is out posting it now. Woot! This means I'm getting an iPod Touch, which I've wanted since I first saw themand started drooling. By selling before Christmas, we got a good price for the Reader, and by buying after Christmas, I should get a good price on the Touch.
After 4 years of rage-inducing incompatibility (the Creative software sucks, and it only talks grudgingly to Winamp or MediaPlayer on our computer), I'm going to have an MP3 player with proper software!
This is especially brilliant since my Netbook is DED and it looks like it's going to take a while to get it up and running again. That's usually the story of my life. Winning something, then being able to sell it quickly and buy something I really, really want? That's never the story of my life. I think that's what's more exciting than actually having the Touch - something has gone right! Now all we need is for the postman to deliver the rest of our Christmas presents for other people...
Woot! *twirls*
Okay, I'll leave everyone alone to get on with their Saturdays now.
