I had a bit of trouble settling last night, so I did some audiofic recording instead.

As you do. Links go to amplificathon for the moment, and I'll update my complete listing (link in sidebar) at some point today. I'm currently second in the rankings, and don't think I'm ever going to catch the person who's first. So I shall just have to keep recording to keep myself in the top three. There's still lots more stories out there!

I had thought this week was going to be a wash for podfic, what with the WRITING 6000 WORDS A DAY, but then you pulled these out of your sleeve. (It's so exciting to look at the standings each week! I've never been interested in sports - this is better. *g*)

Hee. This is my way of unwinding. Believe it or not... 'A few quiet drinks' was actually recorded last week, but I didn't like 'Loose Ends' so wanted to rerecord before posting.

I know what you mean about the standings - I'm getting stupidly competitive about it, and really need to back off a little. I'll wear my voice out if I'm not careful! But still. I'm 70ish points behind the leader. What I need are a lot of short fics in obscure fandoms that I know...*plots*

Oh, I think I'm crash-landing from Final Week of Classes already - I was trying to work on a fan project but kept falling asleep on the floor all evening and woke up at midnight, and here I am. It's actually quiet outside my apartment! :)

Those Discworld crossovers were very point-y! You almost made up 70 points in that one post. Keeping your voice is good, though. (Which reminds me - apparently somebody on Sweet Charity is recording a due South fic she estimates will be 40 hours long when it's finished. ::boggles:: I hope they'd work out an exception to the points system for that!)
