Happy birthday, Becky! Hope you have a calm, non-stressful, lovely day.

I won't see Who when it's broadcast tonight, as I'm at the theatre (a promenade production of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' in one of Oxford's parks, since you didn't ask), so no squee and definitely no LJ until the morning.

This is a public service announcement:

If you are trying to write SGA fic, it is a seriously bad idea to listen to podfics of fandom classics on the way to work. This will lead to you wanting to cry, hide under the desk, and swear never to touch a keyboard again. Especially if your own story is lacking on the plot front.

That is all.

We all get like that sometimes DON'T PANIC! and DO NOT under any circumstances stop writing. We love your writing.

Your public service announcement? *sigh* Yeah. Only also with reading the fandom classics. Or reading pretty much anything, really.

Oh, I know the feeling. Actually, that seems to happen to me in all fandoms: I get an idea, then go off and read a fanfic and then vow to lay down my pen forever.
