We have lift off! The front page is here, from where you can link to everything else. We also have 45 stories and gajillions of pieces of art (which may contain spoilers, just so you know), which is all kinds of awesome.

My work? Well, just a brief link for now and more details and squee tomorrow. But I've now been at work for nearly 12 hours and am kind of ready to go home. Admiration for artists will also be expressed tomorrow because DAMN these guys are good.

Nothing Else But Change
Torchwood (pre-series) | PG | gen | 27,000 words

Everything changed, everything moved on. Everything except Jack.

Betas: [livejournal.com profile] rustydog and [livejournal.com profile] donutsweeper
Notes: My gratitude to my betas cannot be textually rendered. They have held my hand, passed the tissues, corrected grammar and typos, forced me to write better and made sure that I had everything I needed to write this. It's not possible to thank them too much, for services above and beyond the call of duty or friendship. Remaining deficiencies are all my own work.

Art is by [livejournal.com profile] in_the_bottle and [livejournal.com profile] jhava and is just...well. Click through to the story and you'll see why it's so awesome.

Right. Home now. Catch y'all tomorrow.

*beams* I do love writing Jack. No matter what, no matter when, it's just. Right for me, somehow. Hope you enjoy the rest!

*twirls and twirls* We made it! We all made it!

I feel I have a personal interest having betaed two of them. I shall read yours tomorrow with a cuppa and a biccie.

Heh, it possibly comes with a blanket-and-tissue warning, so a cuppa and a biccie sounds like a very good plan :)

Enjoy the fruits of your labour! I always think one of the best things about being a beta is being able to look at comments on a story and think "I helped with that" :D

which may contain spoilers

I assume this means spoilers for the big bang stories, but before I do any more browsing on the art page I want to check - you don't mean spoilers for unaired episodes of any of the series, do you?

No, I mean for the stories, sorry! We only asked people to warn for spoilers for the DW Easter Special - everything before that was considered fair game. But some of the art gives away major plot points, and although we cut them from the story pages, it didn't seem right to cut them from the art ones as well!

Have fun browsing - I just made a rec for the first story I got sucked into ;)

You've already finished a story? Go you! I have to wait til I get home to even make a *plan* for what, how, and when I'm going to read stories. Like last year, it will probably be days before I finish and comment on my first story. I'm kind of worried about that, actually, because last year I'm afraid the authors never saw my comments.

If they've turned on tracking, they'll see them, I promise you that.

I had a head-start, of course, and I already have my priorities worked out, if you're interested (I'd email you, probably in the morning now!) There's some stuff that looks good but isn't my thing, and some that I just HAVE to read, although quite where I'm going to find the time, I have no idea...

Sure, any meta about planning and priorities? Of course I'm interested. :)

I want to re-read the stories I beta'd, of course, and the ones written by my flist, and on my quick skim I see there are a couple by authors I'd like to read and a couple with plots/characters I'm attracted to. This may take me *months*... I barely have time to read drabbles lately!

That was brilliant!

I'm going to have to read it slower, next time. :)
