With thanks to [livejournal.com profile] taffimai for pointing me in its direction:

For all Torchwood and Doctor Who folks suffering from Fannish Ennui?

Spaceman by [livejournal.com profile] kaydeefalls could be just what you need.

It's the kind of vid that reminds me why I'm a fan of these things in the first place. Sometimes I need something to just stop me and make me go "OH!" and this is it right now. Just wonderful

that was great - reminded why those shows were such fun in the first place. It actually made me want to watch seasons 1 and 2 of Torchwood again, whereas after Children of Earth, I really didn't want to watch any of them anymore.

I know what you mean. I enjoyed Children of Earth (well...not 'enjoy enjoy'...you know what I mean) but I've been oddly reluctant to go back to S1 and S2. Could be a plan for getting the writing going again, though.

I know I tend to get caught up in the fandom, and forget the awesomeness among the stuff that wasn't so awesome (which is what we tend to focus on), so this was a very timely reminder!
